  • Welcome to Urban Studio {blog}

    I am a wife and mother with a passion for photography. I love capturing children and families doing with they do best, having fun and living life! Here you will find sneak peaks of my latest sessions as well as a glimps into my crazy wonderful life.

    After the death of my little boy in November of 2009, my desire to help families create lasting memories has been taken to a deeper level. I'm excited to see what the year 2010 has to bring -- it's a time of new beginings.

    So sit back, relax and enjoy!

{Spencer Twins: Newborn Session}

This session pretty much made me the happiest lady on earth!  These two beautiful little babies were so much fun to just watch — all there cute little stretches and little movements.  I totally love the details in these photos — the wrinkled toes, peeling fingers and soft newborn skin.  Ugh.  So sweet.

Hannah: Senior Session

Although I really love photographing little ones, this session was a nice change!  Hannah is about to begin a new phase in life — moving and starting Master’s Commission/College!  Her beauty, both inside and out shines through in these photos!  Way to go Hannah — enjoy this exciting time in life!

{A Little Older}

I had the privilege of photographing this handsome little one over two years ago!  He has grown in so many ways — talks way faster and with way more excitement, and keeping up with him was a bit more challenging!  This little family was so much fun to get to hang out with again in beautiful Valley Forge National Park.

{Littlest Heroes Shoot: Miss Emma}

This is probably my absolute favorite thing to do — these kids are so freakin’ cool!  Miss Emma is an amazing little girl who not only seems to love life evident by her sassy personality but also loves school and her Special Olympics gymnastics! Despite her challenges Emma proves that love for life overcomes all obstacles.  Once she got comfortable, her true personality started to break through and we had lots of fun. Little sister was also so much fun and both girls’ smiles tell such a powerful story.

Enjoy!

{Red Haired Sweetness}

This little guys is absolutely breathtaking and he was such a good little boy and lots of fun to work with.  His hair and eyes are enough to win over any one’s heart!  This family came out on what I think was the hottest day of the year so far, with a heat index reaching 110.  They all did a really great job and were so sweet.

Enjoy!
